Types of Strength Training Offered

We offer a variety of strength training programs to suit different needs. Weightlifting focuses on lifting weights for muscle building and strength. Resistance training utilises resistance bands and bodyweight exercises for strength building and functional strength training improves functional movements and daily activities. We also provide specialised programs for sports performance, rehabilitation and senior fitness. Our specialised programs include strength training for runners, designed to improve endurance, speed and injury prevention for athletes of all levels.

Our trainers incorporate a variety of strength training exercises. Ceco Dinchev is a strength and conditioning specialist with a background in competitive sports and Sasha Lauer specialises in holistic health, with certifications in nutrition and strength training.

How to Get Started

To begin your strength training journey with U Personal Training, follow our step-by-step guide to scheduling your initial consultation. After you express interest, a team member will reach out. Next, you’ll have an in-person consultation. Based on these evaluations, your trainer will design a personalised training program. We offer various membership options, providing an overview of different training packages and pricing. We offer a limited membership of 250 members, Access to our studio for training outside of PT sessions is available for an additional fee. All bookings are managed through our mind body app​

Q: What should I bring to a strength training class?

For most strength training classes, you should bring water, and appropriate workout attire, including supportive shoes. U. PT provides towels and showers if required.

 
Q: What if I need to cancel or reschedule a personal training session.?

Policies for canceling or rescheduling a personal training session are simple and follow our personal training contracts. Cancel outside of 24 hours and the session can be rescheduled, inside of 24 hours and the cancelled PT session will be charged. Personal circumstances are on a case-by-case basis.
